After some investigating and price checking, it may actually be cheaper in the long run for us to get a Netbook (cheap laptop, browsing mostly, would allow easier updating) for about $300. Either that or use local machinery in internet cafes as we go.
We're also looking into possibly moving the blog to www.travelpod.com ... it appears to have a much easier interface for us to tie in pictures/locations/etc and would allow embedding in Facebook easier. Thoughts?
